Whispering Pines Lodge

Family-owned Whispering Pines Lodge Bed & Breakfast located in beautiful Kernville, CA is a noted “Star Studded” property that has been visited by several top celebrities over the years due primarily to the seclusion and privacy of the cabins. These offer large rooms (most with king size beds) and spacious balconies overlooking the banks of the Kern River. The property's 6 acres can accommodate gorgeous Kern Riverside Weddings or large group events!

Amenities include a pool, access for outdoor weddings, a picnic area, ample surface parking, and walking trails to downtown Kernville. The Kern River Valley, bordered by subranges of the Sierra Nevada, has thriving outdoor recreational activities including fishing, whitewater rafting, biking, hiking and climbing in the summer and snow sports in the winter. Kernville is also known for its many annual events - the AAA Whispering Pines Lodge is in the center of it all.

Please note: we no longer serve breakfast. We know a lot of you have been with us throughout the years will miss this, but there are still plenty of great options nearby!

"It was our 25th anniversary and we could not pick a better place to celebrate. From the moment we arrived we felt like family. The woman who met us when we checked in greeted us warmly and gave us a room right on the river's edge. Spectacular view. Room was clean and warm. Highly recommend. Our only regret is we missed the snow by two days. Will go back again!"
